WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE

Message from the Chaplain:

The summer weeks are a time of change and transition in the expatriate community in Izmir.  Valued members of the congregation move on to work in other cities, and new people arrive.  If you're coming to live here in the next few weeks, or have already got here, do get in touch.  We'd be delighted to meet you and if we can help in any way as you settle into Izmir, please let us know.

Our church members come from many different parts of the world and a wide range of denominations. We are friendly bunch but (we hope!) not overbearing.  We share a love of worshipping in English in the Anglican tradition.

Whether you live here already or are planning to move to Izmir, we look forward to meeting you.  Please join us on a Sunday morning at 10.00 or contact me directly (see Contact Us).

May God bless you and keep you,

The Revd James Buxton, Chaplain.

REGULAR WORSHIP IN ENGLISH
We warmly invite you to join us for the Eucharist on Sunday mornings at 10.00 am at St John's Church, Alsancak.  The Eucharist is followed by refreshments in the Church Hall.
We also meet weekly in Bornova, at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church.  We invite you to join us there on Tuesday afternoons at 5.00 pm, for a short service of evening prayer.  See separate page for the Anglican Church of St Mary Magdalene, Bornova.
